Our fully renovated Basque farmhouse welcomes you between the ocean and the mountains, along the Bidouze River, in the heart of the Xarnegu countryside. This diverse and ever-changing landscape features meadows where herds graze, cultivated fields, a kiwi orchard, and forests. Our property also boasts a recently planted orchard of local Basque apple varieties, used for juice and cider production. This peaceful and charming setting is perfect for an authentic stay in our comfortable and cozy rooms, Jinko and Peatxa. Maison Arios was designed to offer space and comfort to each of its guests. Visitors seeking nature, local culture, and an interest in agriculture can discover our small farm. You will benefit from Came's ideal location to recharge or explore the Basque Country and all its treasures, as well as the southern Landes region. Enjoy the opportunity to discover local produce at breakfast, a culinary delight we will be happy to share with you.

Our Jinko room is on the ground floor with a small vestibule that provides privacy from the rest of the house. It overlooks the path and is very sunny as it faces south. It has its own private bathroom with shower and toilet. The sleeping arrangements consist of two separate, very comfortable 90cm mattresses. Jinko is a sweet, yellow apple, reflecting the cheerful and peaceful atmosphere of this room.

Our Peatxa room is on the first floor of the house, with a small vestibule for added privacy. It offers a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. The Arcangues blue creates a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere. Its private bathroom with shower and toilet is accessible from the entrance hall. The bedroom features a very comfortable 160cm bed. Peatxa is an iconic apple used in Basque cider, known for its tartness and meltingly tender texture.

The house is situated in a very pleasant location, on a quiet lane overlooking the Bidouze River. The orchard and garden are open to all, offering beautiful views, and several walking and cycling routes can be accessed directly from the house, which is close to greenways. It's an excellent base for exploring the Basque Country, the southern Landes region, and Béarn.
